Job summary

Northland is seeking a Junior Advisory Program participant to support brokers with client accounts, orders, inquiries, and general account tasks, building strong foundations in investment advisory, insurance, and fixed income sales.

You will assist in trade confirmations, onboarding, reporting, and compliance, while developing communication and relationship skills through hands-on learning, training programs, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in financial services or relevant internships.
• Pursuit of FINRA licenses (Series 7, Series 66).
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field preferred.
• CFP or ChFC designation.

Responsibilities

• Assist brokers in client account management and orders.
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling and reporting.
• Support in onboarding and client paperwork preparation.
• Assist in trade confirmations and compliance-related tasks.
• Learn and develop sales skills through warm leads provided by brokers.
• Participate in training programs and development opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all activities.
