Job summary

Entegro in Palo Alto is seeking a Junior Field Technician to support a major real estate and network relocation project on-site. You will assist Senior Network Engineers with the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of core network layers including Outside Plant Fibre and IP networks.

The role offers hands-on experience in telecom environments, collaboration with experienced colleagues, and opportunities to develop skills in DWDM, SDH, DCN, and power/cooling

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or MSc in engineering.
• Experience or familiarity with telecommunications principles is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Network Engineers in design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of Outside Plant Fibre, Inside Plant Racks and Cabling.
• Support DWDM, SDH, IP, DCN and related network layers on site.
• Manage and analyze data using bespoke inventory systems with a methodical approach.
• Travel may be required to client sites or other locations.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
• Seek opportunities for long-term role development within the company.
