Job summary

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst to support our Federal Government client in Austin, TX. The Financial Analyst will assist with financial operations, analyze financial statements, ensure compliance with federal requirements, and liaise with federal staff and contractors across the organization.

The role is full-time, onsite in Austin, and requires U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Tier 2 background investigation.

Qualifications

• This role requires a four-year undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
• Minimum of one year of experience in financial, budgetary, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of passing a Tier 2 background investigation.
• Superior attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Process financial documents and transactions in UFMS for designated districts.
• Review accounting practices for compliance with federal laws, regulations, and OMB circulars.
• Identify corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and funds.
• Analyze annual financial statements for regulatory and program compliance.
• Prepare and process data using spreadsheet and word-processing software.
• Serve as liaison with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization.
