Job summary

One Federal Solution is seeking a Program Analyst - Financial Management in Arlington, VA to support a government client. The role focuses on administrative and financial support, budget execution, and financial reporting using UFMS and Excel.

The ideal candidate has federal financial process experience, strong analytical skills, and must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a Public Trust background investigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with budget execution during a fiscal-year budget cycle.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience preparing and presenting status-of-funds information to higher-level management.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and similar functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and professionally.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Process financial documents and transactions using UFMS.
• Review accounting practices for compliance with federal laws, regulations, and OMB circulars.
• Identify corrective actions related to improper or unauthorized expenditures and accounting of funds.
• Review and analyze annual financial statements for compliance with laws and program policies.
• Support budget execution throughout the fiscal-year budget cycle.
• Track and analyze financial information to support funds management.
• Prepare status-of-funds information and reports for higher-level management.
• Present financial information and funding status to management.
• Prepare financial documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to analyze and present financial information.
