One Federal Solution in Austin, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst to support our Federal Government client. The analyst will handle financial documents and transactions, review accounting practices, and assist with compliance. This full-time, onsite position requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation. You will liaise with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across OFS.

Competenze

• Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum of one year of experience in financial, budgetary, or related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Tier 2 background investigation.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Superior Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and similar functions.

Mansioni

• Process financial documents and transactions from designated Districts using the UFMS system.
• Review accounting practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, including the Single Audit Act.
• Review accounting practices for compliance with GAAP and relevant OMB circulars.
• Identify corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds.
• Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
• Utilize spreadsheet and word-processing software in support of financial activities.
• Apply general knowledge of financial statements in performing assigned responsibilities.
• Serve as a liaison with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization.
