Job summary

Decca Recruiting LLC is seeking an Associate Accountant, External Reporting. This entry-level role supports the preparation and filing of external financial reports and SEC filings, providing exposure to public company reporting and U.S. GAAP.

The role offers hands-on experience across SEC compliance, earnings releases, and cross-functional collaboration with Investor Relations, Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Recent accounting graduate or early-career accounting professional.
• Strong interest in financial reporting, SEC compliance, and technical accounting.
• Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a corporate environment.
• Foundation in public-company external reporting and SEC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
• Support the preparation of earnings releases and other external reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the External Reporting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting teams.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statement disclosures and supporting documentation.
• Develop technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills through hands-on participation in the external reporting process.
