Job summary

STS LA is seeking a highly motivated Junior Estimator/Project Manager to support the General Manager with estimating and project management. The ideal candidate brings field experience and some estimating/project management know-how.

We specialize in remodel/new construction for residential and commercial properties with a focus on tenant improvement projects and emergency services in the Los Angeles area. Growth and relationship-building are central to this role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 5+ years of experience in construction.
• Some field experience in construction or a variety of construction knowledge.
• Experience in commercial or residential bidding/estimating/project management.
• Experience with Xactimate software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contact residential homeowners and management companies requesting proposals.
• Walk sites, take notes, translate into estimates and proposals.
• Present proposals to potential customers.
• Assist General Manager to hand off projects and ensure scope is met.
• Manage projects from start to finish.
• Review profit and loss after job completion.
• Meet monthly with accounting and ownership to review financials.

• +5 years of experience in construction
• Some field experience in construction or a variety of construction knowledge
• Some experience in commercial or residential bidding/estimating/project management
• Experience with Xactimate software is a plus

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

• Start Time: 6:00am-9:00am depending on project
• End Time: 3:00pm- 6:00pm depending on project
