Job summary

STS Construction Services in the Greater Los Angeles Area is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to support the General Manager with estimating and project management. The role blends field insight with bid development for residential and commercial remodels, tenant improvements, and restoration projects.

You will work on proposals, present them to clients, and coordinate handoffs to other PMs, ensuring work aligns with scope and financial goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating and project management experience.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Field experience in construction and/or a variety of construction knowledge.
• Experience in commercial or residential bidding/estimating/project management.

Responsibilities

• Make contact with homeowners and management companies requesting proposals.
• Walk jobs, take notes, translate into estimates and proposals.
• Present proposals to potential customers.
• Hand off projects to other PMs and ensure execution to scope.
• Manage projects and review profit and loss after completion.
• Meet monthly with accounting and ownership to review financials.

STS Los Angeles is looking for a highly motivated Estimator/Project Manager to assist the General Manager with estimating and project management. The ideal candidate would have a variety of field experience and experience with estimating and project management. Our company specializes in remodel/new construction for residential and commercial properties. Our special projects division’s focus is on tenant improvement projects, and various types of remodel projects, in addition to emergency services, small repairs and restoration for a multitude of properties in the Los Angeles area. Our goal is for this person to continue to maintain our current relationships, while developing new relationships and leads.

What Does An Estimator/Project Managers DayLook Like?

• Making contact with various residential homeowners and management companies who have requested proposals
• Walking jobs, taking notes and translating them into estimates and proposals
• Presenting proposals to potential customers
• Working with the General Manager to hand off projects to other Project Managers and make sure they are executed to scope
• Managing projects
• Reviewing profit and loss once jobs are complete
• Meeting monthly with the accounting team and ownership to review financials

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• +5 years of experience in Estimating and Project Management
• Some field experience in construction and/or a variety of construction knowledge
• Experience in commercial or residential bidding/estimating/project management
• Experience with Xactimate, Buildertrend and Office365software is a plus

• Pay Rate: $90k-$120k yearlyDOE

Schedule:

• Start Time: 6:00am-9:00am depending on project
• End Time: 3:00pm- 6:00pm depending on project
