Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Estimating, or equivalent.
• Quantity take-offs and take-off skills are essential; proficiency with software and organized documentation is expected.
• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Word processing programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit prices by building the project in your head and organizing material and labor data.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing and prepare bid invitations and bid packages.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities and maintain bid records; support the Chief Estimator.
