Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• 1–5 years of experience in construction, estimating, or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong math, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Procore, BuildingConnected, and take off software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing project plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare budgets and estimates
• Solicit and organize pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Help prepare bid proposals, scope sheets, and project budgets
• Compare bids and identify scope gaps, exclusions, and cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate estimating files, vendor information, and historical cost data
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and senior estimators
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed
• Support the handoff of awarded projects from estimating to operations
