Job summary

D2 Industrial Services, based in Vallejo, CA, is seeking a Junior Estimator to develop cost estimates for industrial insulation projects. You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, apply unit pricing, and support bid packages with accuracy and pace.

You will collaborate with estimators, project managers, and operations to assess risks, value engineer where appropriate, and ensure estimates reflect site conditions and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating or industrial services.
• Knowledge of insulation or industrial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of accurate, competitive cost estimates for industrial insulation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to perform quantity takeoffs.
• Collaborate with PMs and operations to evaluate project risks and value engineering.
• Maintain estimate documentation and support post-bid reviews.
