Job summary

BODE, Inc. in Londonderry, NH seeks a Junior Construction Estimator to prepare basic takeoffs, gather pricing, and draft estimates for commercial projects.

You will work with experienced teammates who provide training, while Sales Operations reviews proposals before release. This office-based role requires a high school diploma (college degree preferred), basic math and computer skills, and a willingness to learn plan reading and estimating.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn plan reading and estimating are preferred.
• College degree is preferred.
• Takeoff software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review plans with guidance, prepare basic quantity takeoffs, and flag unclear or missing information.
• Prepare basic material and labor cost worksheets using company templates and approved rates.
• Request vendor and subcontractor quotes, follow up on responses, and record pricing and lead times.
• Prepare draft estimates and proposals for Sales Operations review; update them as directed.
• Keep drawings, quotes, takeoffs, and bid deadlines organized; communicate missing information or delays promptly.
• Assist with routine sales support and occasional site visits with an experienced team member to verify measurements and conditions.
