Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Pullman, WA, is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and assist with quick repairs.

You will follow established procedures, document activities, and work under supervision while developing skills in electronics, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform preventive maintenance of basic complexity on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair during preventive maintenance and reactive calls.
• Enter and maintain accurate entries in the equipment maintenance database.
• Follow SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Work under supervision to complete tasks.
