Job summary
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Pullman, WA to perform preventive maintenance and skilled trades including electrical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and custodial tasks. The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork while supporting event setups and equipment upkeep.
The ideal candidate has 4 years in commercial facility maintenance, experience with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing, and a valid
Qualifications
- Have 4 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance and operations.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment across trades (electrical, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
- Complete custodial duties, furniture moves, event set-ups, and grounds work as needed.
- Assist with stocking, orders, and safe operation of equipment; uphold safety and environmental practices.
