Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks a supervisory leader in its Pullman, WA facility to guide production teams and ensure achievement of departmental objectives.

You will mentor staff, communicate across upstream/downstream units, and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires at least 2+ years of supervisory experience, solid communication skills, and a track record of developing personnel.

Formación

• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to model SEL Values to others.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally, respectfully and openly to a diverse audience.
• Proven ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work; intervene to remove obstacles as needed.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow for up and downstream departments.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clear direction to department to meet production objectives.
• Understand upstream and downstream departments for accurate product flow.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback; write performance reviews.
• Drive employee engagement and communicate change effectively.
• Assess training needs and oversee training.
• Address personnel issues and resolve conflicts equitably.
• Create and maintain department work instructions and reports.
• Provide data to inform staffing and capital decisions.
• Promote safety standards and initiatives.
