Pace® Analytical Services in Westborough, MA is seeking a Scientist to join our Volatiles department and perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory. You will use GC-MS and related methods to help ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities.

Responsibilities include maintaining instruments, documenting procedures, observations, and results, and supporting a compliant, organized lab workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or STEM field with laboratory coursework.
• Must have chemistry credit hours with labs from a college or university.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of environmental samples using GC-MS and related methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results for quality records.
