Job summary

Pace in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory. This full-time role involves hands-on analysis using GC, HPLC and ICP to help ensure the integrity of environmental data affecting communities and ecosystems.

You’ll document procedures and results, maintain equipment, and operate with appropriate PPE. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field is required or equivalent experience; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in lab records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
