Job summary

APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC is seeking a junior-level Environmental Scientist for a full-time role, primarily in an office setting, to support our RCRA and state hazardous waste programs and related waste management tasks.

The candidate will bring data analytics and waste profile management skills, with strong written and verbal communication to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a core science or related area.
• 2-4 years of related work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage various work scopes within schedules and budgets.
• Work independently and as part of a project team and adapt to changing conditions.
• Interface with client personnel at a corporate and facility level.
• Identify data discrepancies and resolve corrections to full completion.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies.
• Time management to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Follow defined processes while accommodating new or changing scenarios.
• Apply knowledge to environmental compliance across federal and state regulations.
• Experience with RCRA and state hazardous waste/compliance is desired.
