Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is hiring for a laboratory role in the environmental science field. The position involves using GC, HPLC, and ICP to analyze air, water, and soil samples for contaminants, and to document results carefully.

Training is provided, with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime as needed. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field and the ability to work in a lab environment, including PPE usage and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field.
• Experience in a laboratory environment and with standard lab PPE.
• Willingness to train and learn new analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
