Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist for an on-site role in our environmental testing laboratory in Massachusetts. You will perform hands-on analysis using GC, HPLC, ICP, and other techniques to ensure data quality and integrity across air, water, and soil samples.

The position involves stainless environment work, documentation of results, calibration of instruments, and opportunities to grow within a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory setting, including standing, exposure to odors, and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods to detect contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures, observations, and results clearly in lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
