Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast in North Kingstown, RI is hiring an Entry-Level Laboratory Technician I (Full-Time). The role supports lab operations, performing sample prep, data entry in LIMS, and general maintenance of the lab and supply areas.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 1:30 pm–10:00 pm with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour and a 5% shift differential for 2nd shift. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and have English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred.
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Samples will be in coolers packed in ice.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Prepare samples and reagents as needed (aliquot, spike, concentrate).
• Learn and use the Eurofins LIMS system.
• Resolve discrepancies to ensure proper labeling of samples.
• Document results and track samples in lab logs.
• Wash glassware and stock supplies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Assist other laboratory areas as needed.
