Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast in Edison, NJ is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for a full-time, Monday–Friday 12:00pm–8:30pm shift. Compensation ranges from USD 17.50 to USD 18.37 per hour, with a 5% shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

The role supports QA programs and SOPs, maintains lab areas, and assists with sample processing. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, basic chemistry knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred
• Chemistry coursework at high school level is preferred
• Basic laboratory experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from control for analysis
• Perform sample preparation and reagent preparation
• Prepare concentrations and labels for samples
• Operate and learn the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Maintain general lab paperwork and logbooks
• Stock supplies and clean work areas
• Assist other lab areas as needed
