Jacobs in Midland, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental team. You will support site characterization, investigation, and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients while gaining field and office experience.

You’ll work with scientists, geologists, engineers, and project managers focused on safety, sustainability, and positive environmental impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Valid driver's license
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50-75% of the time to support project needs.
40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Authorization to work within the United States without Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Support environmental site investigations and remediation projects through field sampling of soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and surface water, while coordinating field activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, geologists, engineers, and project managers while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
