Jacobs in Midland, Texas is seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist or Geologist to support site characterization, investigation and remediation for private-sector and government clients. You will work with experienced scientists and engineers across field and office settings.

You will assist with field sampling, data analysis and reporting, while developing your professional skills in safety, sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50-75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental site investigations and remediation via field sampling of soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and surface water.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining health, safety, and environmental compliance.
