Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks a Junior Systems Engineer to assist in planning, design, and deployment of a mission-critical system for a government customer. You will work with customers, systems engineers, developers, and the UX team to ensure mission-driven software capabilities are defined, built, tested and delivered.

You will translate requirements into user stories, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or four years of equivalent experience.
• Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional requirements.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and basic testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering and decomposition from government stakeholders into detailed technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into actionable Jira user stories and epics.
• Curate and groom the sprint backlog ensuring well-scoped work for developers.
