Job summary

HNTB is seeking New Grad Engineer I in North Carolina to contribute to design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for a variety of projects. You will work with project teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations, supporting delivery across diverse infrastructure programs.

In this role, you will complete tasks within schedules, assist with reports and estimates, and help organize design files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD preferred.
• New Grad Engineer I role across Roadway, Rail, Structures, Traffic, Water Resources, and Construction Management tracks.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administration of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and design tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
