Job summary

HNTB Corporation in North Carolina is seeking intern engineers in Structures, Roadway, Traffic, Rail, Water Resources and Construction. You will assist engineering teams, help with research, design, and drawing preparation while enrolled in an accredited engineering program.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be active in post-secondary studies; AutoCAD/MicroStation experience preferred and a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited engineering program.
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary engineering program.
  • Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering coursework preferred.
  • AutoCAD and MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
  • Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
  • Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
