Job summary

HNTB's North Carolina offices in Charlotte and Raleigh are seeking New Grad Engineer I positions across Roadway, Rail, Structures, Traffic, Water Resources, and Construction Management. You will support the project team with design calculations, reports, and plans, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, owner-employee environment.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Familiarity with MS Office and CAD tools like MicroStation or AutoCAD is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Familiarity with MS Office; CAD software knowledge helpful.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Assist in preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assist engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Support engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
