Job summary

HNTB is seeking a New Grad Engineer I to contribute to design calculations, reports, and specifications for assigned projects. You will collaborate with the project team to develop conceptual and detailed designs for infrastructure programs.

This entry-level role focuses on research, data collection, field investigations, and design delivery using current drawing tools and software as part of a collaborative team effort. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD encouraged.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to design projects.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
