Job summary

ICF is seeking an early-career Energy and Climate Researcher to support a broad portfolio of energy, climate, sustainability, resilience, and program consulting engagements. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, work with cross-disciplinary teams, and contribute to client-ready deliverables for federal, state, local, utility, nonprofit, and commercial clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related field such as environmental science, policy, engineering, economics, or data analytics.
Experience with Python for data analysis, visualization, and modeling is preferred.
Experience researching energy, climate, sustainability, resilience, or related topics is a plus.
Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate findings clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on energy markets, climate, sustainability, and related topics by collecting and evaluating information from diverse sources.
Analyze large datasets using spreadsheets, databases, and statistical tools to identify trends and support models and forecasting.
Develop client-ready deliverables including reports, presentations, and data visualizations with clear narratives.
