Job summary

RTX/Collins Aerospace is seeking a junior Software Engineer to develop the next generation of aircraft seating. Work across the SW lifecycle, integrate with hardware, and collaborate with disciplined teams. Onsite in Winston-Salem, NC or Jamestown, ND, with relocation options across states.

The role requires a STEM degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience, with C/C++ proficiency and US work authorization. CI/CD familiarity and Agile practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Less than 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on technical problems and provide innovative software solutions.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate software with hardware and evaluate issues.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, internal and external.
• Participate in program and customer review meetings.
