RTX, operating through Collins Aerospace, seeks a junior software engineer to develop the next generation of aircraft seating software onsite in Winston-Salem, NC or Jamestown, ND. You will contribute across the software lifecycle, including hardware integration, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role targets candidates with a STEM degree and under 2 years of relevant experience, proficient in C/C++.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Less than 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with C/C++ programming

Responsibilities

• Work on technical problems and provide innovative software solutions.
• Contribute at all phases of the software development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
• Use investigation and troubleshooting to assess issues and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines.
• Participate in program and customer meetings/reviews.
