Job summary

Carollo Engineers is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support power engineering tasks for water facilities. You will assist under the supervision of a Staff Electrical Engineer with receptacle designs, lighting layouts, conduit routing, wire sizing and basic CADD drafting.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 0–4 years of experience, plus Engineer-in-Training or FE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-4 years experience.
• Engineer-in-Training Certification or FE license; or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Course work in power engineering and NEC awareness.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic power engineering tasks and calculations for water facilities under supervision.
• Receptacle designs, panel schedule load and phase balancing.
• Lighting designs, zonal cavity calculations, luminaire layout.
• Conduit layout, fill calculations and wire sizing.
• Performs basic CADD drafting and submittal review.
• Develops and improves technical knowledge; travels to sites as needed.
