Job summary

Carollo Engineers Inc. is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support power engineering tasks for water treatment facilities. You will assist with receptacle designs, lighting layouts, conduit work, and wire sizing under supervision.

The role includes basic CAD drafting, submittal reviews, and contributing to technical memos. Strong communication and willingness to learn industry standards are essential for success in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-4 years experience.
• Engineer-in-Training Certification or FE license; or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Basic and advanced coursework in A.C. machinery, electrical measurements, and control system logic design.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic power engineering tasks and calculations for water facilities under supervision.
• Receptacle designs, including panel schedule load and phase balancing.
• Lighting designs, including luminaire layout and circuit switching.
• Conduit layout and fill calculations; wire sizing.
• Basic CADD drafting; submittal review; technical memorandum development.
• Plan communication and present information effectively; follow standards on projects.
