Job summary

Carollo Engineers, a leading water-focused engineering firm, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer in New Jersey to design power systems for water facilities and perform load calculations, conduit routing, and MCC/switchgear design. PE licensure is required, with strong client interaction skills and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Preferred candidates may hold a Master’s degree and have 6–12 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE registration is required.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC is important.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power systems for water/wastewater facilities with supervision.
• Perform load calculations, conduit routing, MCC and switchgear design, and prepare specifications.
• Interact with clients and project teams to deliver solutions.
• Support compliance with NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC standards.
