Job summary

Arcadis, a global design and consultancy leader, seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer (Power) to join the Water Business Area in Columbus, OH, Detroit, MI, or Akron/Toledo, OH. May 2027 graduates encouraged to apply, with duties spanning power distribution design, standby power, lighting, and controls for municipal and industrial water projects.

You will design, analyze, and layout electrical systems, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support project execution using AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Active pursuit or possession of PE license is a plus.
• Experience in W/WW electrical engineering design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define design criteria and prepare one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans and specs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare construction cost estimates and conduct code reviews and technical reporting.
• Provide construction phase support by reviewing submittals, shop drawings and RFIs.
