Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Electrical Engineer in Fort Mill, South Carolina, to support power delivery projects and distribution design. You will gain hands-on experience in due diligence, design, permitting, and construction activities across utilities and commercial sectors.

You will work under supervision to develop electrical calculations, create documentation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Familiarity with electrical construction laws, codes, and regulations.
• Good written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to work independently or in a team under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, compilation, and analysis for power distribution components.
• Assist with basic professional engineering work and distribution design.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads, sizing, voltage drop, grounding, and lighting circuits.
• Generate documentation using drawings and field logs.
• Ensure safety guidelines and project procedures are followed.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and support multiple projects.
