Job summary

Mevion Medical Systems, Inc. seeks a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on designing and developing electrical subsystems for the MEVION S250 proton therapy platform.

You will contribute to power electronics, control circuitry, and high‑voltage systems while performing testing, troubleshooting, and documentation to support product lifecycle and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent working experience.
• Strong English communication and Mandarin required.
• Fundamental knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power electronics, and measurement techniques.
• Experience with schematic capture, circuit design, PCB design, testing, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design and development of electrical subsystems, including power electronics, control circuitry, and high‑voltage systems.
• Performs circuit analysis, schematic design, and PCB layout reviews with guidance.
• Develops and executes electrical system test plans, troubleshooting activities, and design verification testing.
• Authors and maintains electrical design documentation and engineering changes.
• Collaborates with cross‑functional teams in the US and China to support integration and improvements.
• Hands‑on assembly, testing, repair, and modification of electrical assemblies as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety and EMC standards including IEC 60601 where applicable.
