Job summary

Mevion Medical Systems seeks a Junior Electrical Engineer to assist in designing electrical subsystems for the MEVION S250 proton therapy platform. You will work with US and China teams, performing circuit analysis, PCB reviews, testing, and documentation to improve safety, reliability, and performance of medical equipment.

Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong English communication, and Mandarin fluency. Occasional travel (<25%) may be needed to support engineering and field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; recent grads encouraged.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for this role.
• Foundational knowledge in analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supports design and development of electrical subsystems, including power electronics and high-voltage systems.
• Performs circuit analysis, schematic design, and PCB layout reviews with guidance.
• Develops test plans, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and design verification testing.
• Authors electrical design documentation: schematics, BOMs, test docs, ECOs.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support integration and improvements.
• Performs hands-on assembly, measurement, and prototype testing as needed.
