Talent Search Pro in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer (EIT) to join our growing MEP team. You will assist with electrical design, calculations, and construction documents for diverse building projects, under licensed engineers.

This role offers hands-on experience, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and opportunities to pursue a P.E. license while developing technical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• EIT certification required or ability to obtain within six months.
• 2-3 years of electrical engineering experience preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior experience in consulting engineering, MEP design, or building systems preferred.
• Basic familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of NEC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical system design for power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform engineering calculations under licensed engineers.
• Prepare electrical plans, load calculations, panel schedules, and specifications for construction documents.
• Support the development of cost estimates and design alternatives.
• Assist with NEC code research and application of local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software to prepare and modify project documents.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction.
• Participate in field visits, site investigations, and construction observations.
• Document field conditions and assist with preparing observation reports.
