Job summary

Talent Search Pro is seeking a motivated Junior Plumbing Engineer (EIT) to join our MEP team in the United States. You will assist with designing and coordinating plumbing systems for commercial, educational, municipal, and healthcare projects under licensed engineers.

Responsibilities include basic calculations, preparing construction drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, field visits, and cross‑disciplinary coordination while pursuing your licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or within six months.
• 2–3 years of engineering experience preferred.
• Internship/co-op or prior experience in MEP consulting is preferred.
• Basic familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Understanding of plumbing systems and building design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, and specialty plumbing systems.
• Perform pipe sizing, fixture counts, water demand, drainage calculations.
• Support preparation of plumbing construction drawings, specs, and design documents.
• Conduct code research and apply local, state, and national plumbing codes.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit to prepare construction documents.
• Assist with field investigations, site visits, and project records.
