Job summary

Wiley|Wilson in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a recent Electrical Engineering graduate to join our Electrical Engineering team as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT). You will work with experienced engineers on electrical systems design for a diverse range of projects, gaining hands-on experience across design phases and pursuing your Professional Engineer license.

Under licensed engineers you will develop electrical plans, perform load calculations, apply codes, and prepare technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• FE Exam passed by start date.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical plans and designs for projects.
• Perform load calculations and apply relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare and review technical documentation for electrical systems.
• Assist with field investigations and testing to verify installations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems with building design.
