Job summary

Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Junior Engineer in Syracuse, NY to support experienced engineers and assist in building electrical design. You will collect data, perform analyses, and create plans using AutoCAD and REVIT under close supervision, focusing on power distribution and lighting for new and renovated buildings.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with 0–3 years of experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited program.
0-3 years of experience.
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Guided by and provides support to more experienced Engineers.
Collects data and gathers information for documents.
Performs standard analysis.
Creation of plans using AutoCAD and/or REVIT under close supervision.
Design of sections of building electrical systems, for both new and renovated building including power and lighting.
Basic to advanced working knowledge of electrical circuit theory and design.
