Job summary

Popli Design Group in Syracuse, NY is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to design building electrical systems, review junior work, help with schedules, and edit specifications while working with minimal guidance.

Candidates must have a BS in Electrical Engineering or ABET-equivalent, pass the FE exam, and be on track for NY PE certification; six years' experience in power, lighting, fire alarm and related systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent.
• FE exam completed or in progress.
• On-track for or holds NY State PE certification.
• Six years of experience designing building electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design complete building electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm and special systems.
• Assigns and reviews work of entry-level and junior engineers, designers and technicians.
• Assists in developing project schedules and workload for team members.
• Edits specifications from standard libraries and documents general reviews of work.
