Job summary

Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Junior Engineer to join our growing team in New York. Under supervision, you will assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of documents, while developing plans for building electrical systems using AutoCAD and REVIT.

The ideal candidate will have a basic to advanced understanding of electrical circuit theory, power distribution, and network/infrastructure concepts, with proficiency in CAD software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited program.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Guided by and provides support to more experienced Engineers.
• Collects data and gathers information for documents.
• Performs standard analysis.
• Creation of plans using AutoCAD and/or REVIT under close supervision.
• Design of sections of building electrical systems, for both new and renovated building including power and lighting.
