Zusammenfassung

IMEG seeks an Electrical Engineering New Grad in Raleigh, NC to assist with design, analysis, and oversight of electrical systems for buildings. You’ll work with experienced engineers to support budgets, goals, and client expectations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in design calculations, BIM familiarity, and software tools, while developing communication skills and contributing to project delivery through all phases.

Qualifikationen

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Internship in building design consulting preferred.
• EIT or equivalent required.
• EIT license preferred.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts for technical plans and specs.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics for buildings.
• Knowledge of industry standard software and tools including AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, ComCheck, and Adobe/Bluebeam Revu.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Basic BIM knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays.
• Not eligible for sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Assist with design and analysis of electrical systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Prepare designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software.
• Support client interactions by gathering requirements and communicating technical info.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to project execution including planning and scheduling support.
• Document design decisions, client instructions, and progress.
• Analyze low- to medium-complexity tasks and develop practical solutions with seniors.
• Participate in IMEG quality control to ensure standards and client requirements.
• Stay current on industry trends and contribute to research and innovation.
• Identify and help mitigate safety risks associated with electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
