Role Description

The Junior Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Philadelphia, PA. The Junior Editor will support the creation, review, and refinement of written materials, including program content, reports, marketing copy, web pages, and community outreach materials. Responsibilities include editing for clarity, tone, and consistency; checking grammar, spelling, and style; and ensuring that content aligns with organizational guidelines and mission. The role involves collaborating with writers, program staff, and communications team members to manage revisions, maintain editorial calendars, and prepare content for publication across print and digital channels. The Junior Editor will also assist with basic research, fact-checking, and formatting to help deliver accurate and accessible information to diverse audiences.
