Laminar is building an edge computing platform to bring real-time intelligence to industrial environments. We design Linux-based software and edge devices to automate provisioning, deployment, and management of factory applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong Linux experience and scripting ability.
• Experience with Docker, VMs, and cloud containers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Linux services, scripts, and tools for our edge platform.
• Automate setup and configuration of edge computers and factory servers.
• Package, test, and deploy applications using containers and VMs.
• Implement and test industrial protocol integrations (Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, CC‑Link, EtherNet/IP).
• Ensure platform reliability through updates, logging, monitoring and recovery.
• Investigate service failures and optimize performance across deployments.
• Collaborate across teams and document setup instructions and troubleshooting guides.
