Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a manufacturing associate to support the driveshaft production line. The role requires following instructions, interpreting work orders and operating production systems. You will maintain a safe, organized workspace and contribute to meeting productivity and quality goals.

Responsibilities include handling tools, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for long periods on the production floor with moderate noise and warm conditions. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic mechanical skills with machinery and tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and wear PPE as instructed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and interpret work orders and measurements.
• Operate production systems via computers, tablets, scanners, etc.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of the work area, tools and equipment.
• Maintain productivity above 50% of the shift goal.
• Maintain quality yield of 92.5% or greater.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
