Navstar Inc is seeking a DevOps-oriented professional with an active TS/SCI clearance to improve delivery lifecycles, oversee a DevOps team, and maintain production and development environments. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, apply security and configuration practices, and support backend development.

The role requires strong collaboration, documentation, and the ability to work independently, with on-call hours as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with two years of related experience (per junior level).
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Grafana for metrics monitoring and dashboards.
• Understanding of user access controls and security practices.
• System administration across various OS environments.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• On-call hours may be required.

Aufgaben

• Identify deficiencies in delivery lifecycle and implement best practices.
• Oversee hiring of a small DevOps team for operation and maintenance.
• Patch and upgrade existing products for reliability.
• Maintain development, testing, and production environments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to maximize efficiency.
• Implement system hardening and configuration management practices.
• Develop and maintain solutions for backups, DR, and monitoring.
• Test system integrity and deployments, making improvements as needed.
• Manage code deployments and related processes.
• Work with CI/CD tools and source control (Git).
• Provide technical support and develop backend software.
• Stay current with industry trends and seek improvements.
